Where the Light Rests started with a hidden little water hole I found in Tennessee—the kind of place you almost don’t want to tell anybody about because it feels like it was waiting there just for you.
I took a photograph, ran it through a wild computer-based process, and kept shaping the colors until the water, shadows, stones, and sunlight felt more like the memory of the place than a regular picture of it.
It’s peaceful, a little strange, and full of that golden-blue glow you only catch when the light hits everything just right. Basically, it’s a secret Tennessee swimming hole after reality loosened its tie.
